Smart Alerts
GetChart

GetChart allows you to create unique alerts based on a wide range of indicators — with full control over the parameters, every timeframe and even combinations of several signals. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to set it all up in a couple of minutes.

What GetChart alerts are

Alerts are automatic signals that arrive in Telegram and inside the app the moment a condition you defined triggers on the market. No more manually sitting on the chart: GetChart watches the coins and indicators for you and only wakes you up when something actually happens.

GetChart's main advantage is flexibility. You can set an alert on almost any indicator (both our custom ones and the classics), on any timeframe, with the full set of parameters. And on top of that — combine several indicators into a single combo alert that fires only when all the conditions line up.

Register first. Alerts are tied to your account, so sign in via Google or Telegram. It takes a few seconds.

Which indicators and metrics you can set alerts on

This is where GetChart stands apart from most platforms. Besides classic technical indicators, you can set alerts on market and derivatives metrics that almost no one else offers alerts for — aggressive taker delta, open interest, long/short ratio, volatility squeeze and more. These are exactly the signals that often move first, before it shows up on price itself.

Classic technical indicators

All the usual technicals are here too — RSI, MACD, Stochastic, Bollinger, SuperTrend, divergences, pivots, levels and volume — with the full set of parameters and on every timeframe. And that's only part of it: the classic-indicator list is updated regularly, so the app usually has more than we can list here.

The list is constantly updated. We add new indicators and metrics regularly — for the current full list, check the indicator catalog and the app itself. Missing a signal? Message us — we often add them on request.

Open the “Alerts” tab

Go to the GetChart app and open the “Alerts” tab. This is where all your configured alerts live: you can turn them on and off, edit them, add new ones and delete them. It's your control center — from here you see exactly what the system is tracking right now.

2

Click “Create alert”

To add a new alert, click the “Create alert” button. A menu opens where you pick an indicator and, right away, its settings. Here you can tune everything to your liking: the coin, timeframe, indicator parameters and signal type. When it's all set — you hit “Create”, and the alert appears in your list.

The bell in the indicator catalog

There's an even faster way. Open the GetChart indicator catalog — next to each indicator there's a bell icon. Click it — and the alert-creation menu opens right away for that exact indicator, already with the fields pre-filled. All that's left is to choose the coin, timeframe and fine-tune the conditions.

Coin, timeframe and parameters

Everywhere — both when creating from scratch and via the bell — you get full control over the conditions:

  • Coin — any pair from the available list.
  • Timeframe — from minutes to weekly, the full set of TFs.
  • Indicator parameters — periods, levels, thresholds; every indicator has its own fields.
  • Signal type — level cross, divergence, overbought/oversold, and so on.

Divergence Many deserves a special mention: it's a single indicator that packs 10 different divergence algorithms inside. Each of them can be enabled and tuned separately — effectively 10 reversal detectors in one alert.

Combo alerts + match window

This is the most powerful part. In the combo alerts block you pick two or three different indicators, give each its settings and timeframe — and the signal fires only when the conditions line up on all of them at once. This filters out market noise: only what's confirmed by several tools actually triggers.

The match window

The conditions don't have to fire on the exact same candle. Using the “window” field you set the allowed spread in time. For example, if the window = 5, the signal fires when all the indicators' conditions matched within 5 candles of each other. This lets you catch setups where signals come almost simultaneously, but not tick-for-tick.

Strategy examples with alerts

Reversal with confirmation

Combo: RSI oversold + bullish divergence on 1h. The signal fires only when both conditions line up — this filters out false “oversolds” with no reversal.

Early impulse

Combo: Net Taker Volume (a burst of aggressive buying) + Open Interest (fresh capital flowing in) with a window of 3. Catch new money entering at the start of a move, before the crowd notices.

Multi-divergence

Divergence Many — enable several of the 10 algorithms at once and get an alert when a reversal is spotted by multiple methods simultaneously.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to register to create alerts?
Yes. Alerts are tied to your account, so you need to register first — a quick sign-in via Google or Telegram takes a few seconds.
Which indicators can I set alerts on?
Almost all of them. Besides the classics (RSI, MACD, Stochastic, Bollinger, SuperTrend, divergences), you get rare market and derivatives metrics: Net Taker Volume, Open Interest, Long/Short Ratio, Squeeze Predictor, Sharpe Ratio, Matrix True Flow VZO. All on every timeframe and with the full set of parameters. The list is constantly updated.
What is a combo alert?
It's a combination of 2–3 indicators into a single alert. The signal fires only when the conditions line up on all of the selected indicators at once — this filters out market noise.
What does the “match window” mean?
The window defines how far apart in time the conditions of different indicators may fire. A window of 5 means the signal fires if the conditions matched within 5 candles of each other, rather than strictly on the same candle.
Where do the alerts arrive?
In Telegram and as in-app notifications inside GetChart — as soon as the conditions fire.
